About Cloverfield Feed and Grain
A family-run mill and seed house, grinding feed and trialing seed on the same ground for three generations.
Seed people first
Cloverfield started as a gristmill on Mill Road, and the mill is still the heart of everything we do. When local growers asked us for seed they could trust the way they trusted our feed, we started trialing varieties in our own beds — and we’ve never stopped.
Our shelves hold vegetable, herb, flower and fruit seed for every planting window, plus cover crops and native wildflowers. Everything we pack is non-GMO, and most varieties are heirloom or certified organic.
Grown by people who answer the phone
Everyone on our crew grows what we sell. Our trial garden sits ten steps from the packing shed, so when you call with a question about garlic spacing or a balky germination, you’re talking to someone with soil under their nails.
That’s also why every product page tells you exactly when to plant, how deep, and what to expect — advice from our beds to yours.
Our promise: 100% satisfaction
If anything with our name on it doesn’t perform for you, we replace it or refund it. No claim forms, no interrogation, no deadline gymnastics. Call us at 1-(555)-013-4470 or write to hello@cloverfieldfeed.com and a real grower will make it right.
Seed is a living thing and seasons are unpredictable — that’s exactly why our guarantee is unconditional. We’d rather lose a sale than leave a garden empty.
The mill store: tools & supplies
Beyond seed, the mill store stocks the working end of gardening and small farming: hand tools, row cover, organic fertilizers, poultry and wildlife feed, fencing, and harvest gear. Everything on our shelves is something we use ourselves or our neighbors swear by.
Visiting in person? We’re at 1420 Mill Road, open Monday through Saturday. Bring your questions — the coffee’s on.

Seed donation
Every spring we donate seed to school gardens, community plots and food-bank farms across the county — last year, over forty gardens started on Cloverfield seed. If your community project needs seed, tell us about it and we’ll put a box together.
